A fixture in the AUA calendar, the Managing Change in Higher Education Open Forum is the event for sector professionals interested in improving practice in HE change management. 

The Association of University Administrators and SUMS Consulting are working together to improve professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness. They collaborated to provide this opportunity for professionals to meet and develop their practice.

This year the focus was on identifying the challenges facing the higher education sector and establishing our key tenets for success.  Like past MCHE events, we approached these issues through a programme designed to provide delegates with knowledge transfer and case-study learning opportunities. There was time to reflect on support needs and a report on the events is to be provided. 

The event opened with a key note presentation provided by Professor Malcolm Gillies: ‘”‘Brightest and best”:  Is your institution ready?’
