Description:

There is a single theme for the day which is planning a move from central room booking towards a holistic approach to scheduling. The theme will be explored through open consultation sessions with universities:

 

1. Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL)
SUMS have just advised on a three-year plan for QMUL and will present this as a means of framing a plan to participants. QMUL will also update on progress.

 

2. University of Sheffield
Sheffield will update on current situation and plans.

 

3. University of Leeds
Leeds will provide an update on their introduction of lecturer availability collection and present their curriculum modelling tool and plans for its use.

 

4. University of Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton has just appointed a project manager to take forward the SUMS recommendations made when SUMS undertook a timetabling health check for them recently. Wolverhampton will present their draft plan.
